Particle filter
With a high-quality and precision-fit particle filter, pollen, spores, dust, and soot are reduced to 0.005 mm in size and cannot enter the interior of the vehicle.

Activated carbon filter
Activated carbon filters have an additional activated charcoal layer. Besides the function of the particulate filter described above, the activated carbon filter adsorbs odours, harmful gases, ozone, benzene and nitrogen dioxide, binds these and reduces penetration into the vehicle interior by approx. 90 %.

Premium Activated carbon filter
Airmatic Premium activated carbon filters have a higher Grammage of high-quality activated carbon. This enables a even better adsorption performance and service life of the filter.

Biofunctional activated carbon filter
This is the latest development stage in the segment interior filtration and prevent, besides particle filtration and the binding of harmful gases, through the use of fungistatic filter media, which can be damaged by deposited dirt and moisture Bacteria and moulds form and multiply on the filter. This was successfully tested at the Materialanstalt Bremen according to DIN EN 846:1997 Procedure A+C proven and confirmed. Our biofunctional activated carbon filter now has an antiviral efficacy of 99.97% according to ISO 18184:2019 standards and certified through Germany’s Dr. Brill + Dr. Steinmann Institute for Hygiene and Microbiology. The biofunctional activated carbon filter is produced according to the PM2.5 standard of the DIN 71460-3 testing standard.

REGULAR CABIN-FILTER REPLACEMENT

Not only maximizes the air quality inside the vehicle but also prevents foggy windows and the spread of viruses.

Over time, cabin air filters become clogged with pollen, dust, and dirt particles. Depending on vehicle use and filter type, between 100,000 and 500,000 liters of air enter the interior through the ventilation system every hour. The time of year, weather conditions, road surfaces, surroundings, and air quality all have an impact on the life cycle of the cabin filter. To keep the air fresh in the vehicle at all times, it is important to replace the cabin filter on a regular basis. A clogged cabin filter inhibits the flow of fresh air in the car.
